The cute little guy shown above was driving me crazy Saturday morning. He woke up at 6am and was ready to start the day, this immediately made me want to put him up for adoption. I decided to reconsidered the adoption once I realized a cup of coffee was waiting for me. So I ventured in to the kitchen picturing a wonderful fresh, fragrant cup of wonderful coffee only to discover that I was COMPLETELY out of coffee. There were approximately 12 grounds of coffee left in the bottom of the can. I almost cried.
As I was holding back my caffeine addiction induced tears, my dear son starts whining and crying for milk, breakfast, his blanket, you name it he was demanding it all morning long. At one point he was quite and was not hanging all over me...so I suspected he was drinking the cleaners under the sink. Instead I found him with the fish food jar in his hand and half the jar all over the floor. As I was researching whether it was legal to drop him off at the local fire department. My phone rings, my friend, Katie wanted to take the kids to the playground. I decided the adoption could wait until the afternoon and agreed.
As you can see my almost "terrible two" son had a fabulous time at the playground with his girlfriend, Alaina. They went down a huge assortment of slides about 16 times each.
Then they discovered the amplifiers. (Is that what they would be called?) Matty was on one end and Alaina and Katie were on the other end. I am not sure Matt ever figured out why he could hear Katie and Alaina through it.
'Laina are you in there?'
Matty especially loved the tunnel slide. He went down that one about 34 times.
It ended up being a great Saturday morning even without a cup of coffee.
And in case you were wondering, I decided to keep him. I mean look at him... how could I give that up?
Ha! I love it! Thad is SO AFRAID of slides. He will climb the ladder to get to the top, but then he'll just stand up there until one of us takes him down, LOL. My kid's a wimp.
